Whether it’s navigating local building departments or coordinating trades across a complex job site, Millstone steps in to handle the logistics that make a project run smoothly. It’s all about communication. Handling logistics, problem solving, finding solutions with contractors & consultants, and keeping homeowners informed is what keeps everything moving forward in a informed and efficient way.
Based on the North Fork and serving clients across the Hamptons and East End, Millstone works with homeowners, architects, builders, and real estate professionals to get projects off the ground and across the finish line. From building permits and Department of Health approvals to punch lists and inspections, we know what’s required, who to talk to, and how to keep things moving.

Krista Jones grew up around job sites. As the daughter of a builder on the East End of Long Island, her passion for real estate and construction was sparked early — and only grew stronger over time. That foundation led her to a decade-long career in New York City, where she gained hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and industrial development.
Before founding Millstone Property Services, Krista served as a Project Manager for a real estate private equity firm, overseeing large-scale construction for a vertically integrated real estate investment manager. She’s led the execution of complex projects ranging from 5,000 to 350,000 square feet, with total budgets exceeding $150 million. Her ability to manage details, coordinate teams, and drive results has made her a trusted partner across every stage of the development process.
Today, Krista brings that high-level experience back home to the North Fork, helping local homeowners, builders, and consultants navigate permitting and project management with confidence. She combines city-tested expertise with a deep understanding of the East End.
Krista lives in Mattituck with her husband, three children, seven hens, four ducks, and two dogs — proving she can manage even the most chaotic projects with patience and grace.
